Mod Podge Happy Birthday Tray!

Someone in my house is celebrating her summer birthday in school today in style with this cute
Mod Podge Birthday Tray!
So simple and easy to do..
Ingredients
Tray
Mod Podge
Scrapbook paper
Scissors
I grabbed my tray and measured the paper to fit.
Next I poured some Mod Podge into the bottom of the tray and placed the paper over the top.
I squished out all of my little air bubbles with an old gift card and then wiped away the excess.
Next I cut out cute pennants and doilies from my paper
 and Mod Podged again.
Then I added some silly things
to the sides.
Then we packed it with goodies and sent her with her merry tray!

You Changed The World Teacher Gift

One of our beloved teachers is retiring this year.  My two of my children had the privilege of having her as a teacher.. one of them twice.  So I wanted to make her something special..
So we came up with this altered globe!

It was super easy, in fact it was harder to find the globe than to create the project!
Ingredients
Globe
Pick Your Plum Permanent Vinyl
Cricut
Start with your plain globe.
Cut your vinyl to say "You changed the world one child at a time"
Then apply it to your globe.
A thoughtful teacher gift that's perfect for a mantle or desk!

Patriotic Cupcake Liner Pins or Hairbows

Due to Inclement weather this year's Memorial Day parade in my town got cancelled.  Boo.
We were going to make some of these cuties for my Girl Scouts to hand out at the parade!
Want to make some?  They are super easy and inexpensive.  About $5 to make up to 75!
Perfect for Girl Scouts.. and don't forget you can make these for 4th of July too!
Ingredients
Cupcake Liners 2 sizes
Glue Sticks
Craft Glue
Ribbon
Scrapbook Paper
Punches (optional)
Pins or Slip Clips
Start by gluing 2 large and 2 small cupcake liners inside out together.
Make a scrapbook paper circle and punch out USA.
Glue them together.
Flip over and use the craft glue to glue your ribbons.
Now grab your glue gun and attach the pin to some felt
and then glue to the back over the ribbon.
(leaders you can use a low temp gun or glue it for the girls depending on the age!)
Then show off your Red, White and Blue with PRIDE!
If you want to make a hair clip, do the same steps then glue a slip clip to a piece of ribbon.
Then hot glue to the back over the ribbons.
And rock the patriotic look!
Home of the free BECAUSE of the brave!
